. To enjoy HBO Max on the Ulti/ Ultra box, customers can upgrade to the Ulti/Ultra box. You can check your eligibility for a free box swap through the following methods:
- Log in to the My Astro app.
- Send a WhatsApp message with "Hi" to 03-9543 3838, select "Upgrade," and then select "Box Upgrade."
While there is no limit on device registrations, concurrent viewing limits depend on the HBO Max subscription plan: the HBO Pack with HBO Max Premium plan allows streaming on up to 4 devices simultaneously, whereas the HBO Pack with HBO Max Standard plan permits streaming on up to 2 devices at the same time.
There will be no changes to your HBO Max app subscription. You can continue accessing the app as usual. However, due to Warner Bros. Discovery (WBD) and Astro's partnership model going forward, the HBO HD (CH 411), Cinemax HD (CH 412), HBO Family (CH 414) and HBO Hits (CH 415) channels will cease on Astro at 11:59 PM on 28 February 2026.
