How will the initiative implemented by the government affect Astro customers?

This exercise currently only affects person-to-person SMS with URL links. However, the blocking of SMS sent by businesses via short codes such as 6XXXX, 3XXXX, 2XXXX and 1XXXX will be implemented at a later phase. In response to this government initiative, Astro customers will no longer receive SMS bills effective 1 August 2023. This change will be carried out in phases.
